heyyy everyone!!!
this week was a super stellar week!!!
last monday we found this awesome dude named Marcos!! he came up to us while we were walking in the street and he was like "the elders used to visit me and for some reason they just left.. can you guys come over??" and i was like OHHHH YEAH BABY WE CAN COME OVER. so we went to his house, and now he has a baptismal date and is reading the Book of Mormon!!
we also went to pick him up at his house on sunday to go to church, and he wasnt there! so we were super bummed and we went back to the church all sorts of sad. but outta NOWHERE he just showed up at church!! like 5 mins early too!! so thats super fetching awesome.
this week we also found an unusually large pig!!! like hugeeeeeeeee. i have no idea how much bacon is stored in that bad boy, but i know its a lot. we also saw a dude walking his pig like a dog this week.. that was a new one for me.
right now everyone here in san luis is harvesting their corn!! so we ate at least 20 ears of corn last week, and man there were yummy. they barbecue their corn here and put lime and salt on it.. at first i thought it was strange but now i love it!!
not much else to say! san luis is awesome. i feel like i have knocked every door and talked to every person here.. but i know that there are more people to find and teach!! so we are gonna keep looking.
