this week was good!! we are working hard as ever, and finding way more people!! its quite a bit different here, because in my other areas the people have always been willing to listen for like 2 or 3 minutes, but here a lot of people just never answer the door, or they answer it and immediately say they dont have time and shut the door super fast. so that kinda sucks sometimes!
this week we were able to get to know a lot more of the members and less actives tho!! yesterday our bishop took us on a big ole tour of our whole area and showed us where basically everyone lives!! the bishop is super awesome here and we get along really well so thats good!
so here in the ward, there are like 8 young men who want to learn how to play basketball! so me and my comp have been getting up on saturdays to teach them how to play ball! so thats super fun. and Elder Patiño and I always sneak in a couple 1v1 games which is super fun! hes my first companion who has been a decent basketball player.. so we are making the most of it!!
we were also able to do some service this week for a couple families here in the ward which was super awesome!! and in one of those service projects we managed to find a sweet little cactus and we took it home.. dont worry i sent pics
