Heyyyyy everyone!!
this week was a solid week. not as much crazy stuff happened, which is good and bad haha.
this morning we had the chance to serve a member!! everytime we have lessons with people we always ask them if we can serve them or help them with something, and they almost always say no, but this time they said yes. they said to come today at 7am, so we did just that!! turns out he owns an ocra plantation, so we spent 2 hours weeding his plants!! it brought some good memories back of weeding corn at grandpas house!! still not the biggest fan of weeding tho, not gonna lie!!
the best part about this week is we had some baptisms!!!! its always a good day when i can say that. we baptized Yanira, she is super awesome and was totally prepared for us to come. she asked me to baptize her so that was super cool!! she was a little scared of the water at first, but i dunked her real good anyway. i also got to baptize another little girl from the rama, she just turned 8!
so this week our house got a little bit wilder. one night i went to the bathroom, and saw a cord like thing on the ground. i turned on the lights and it was a SNAKE. i about died for reals. it took about 20 mins to get him out of the house, where he proceeded to slither down a hole which is also in our house. so ive been paranoid for like 5 days now about that guy. i took some pretty good videos on my camera, but they are too big to send so that sucks. we also found a mouse in our house last night, so if all works out well the snake will hunt down that mouse and then leave haha.
other than that, i dont have much else to say!! i am super grateful to be a missionary, and can see the hand of the Lord everyday, whether it be with Spanish or something else. love all you guys, thanks for all your support!!
