this week was a pretty normal week for us!! we worked hard, and the investigators that we have found in these last couple of weeks are progressing really well.. so you could say we are more than happy about that!!
i cant remember if i mentioned petronilo and irma in my last letter.. but they are currently a couple of baptismal fechas that we have!! so they have been together for like 21 years but they still havent gotten married.. these guatemalans can be wild at times hahaha.
so this week we were able to call a lawyer lady thats in Chiquimula that will be able to help us out with them!! the hard part is that my guy petronilo hasnt got divorced with his first wife that he left like 21 years ago... so we are gonna find her this week so that we can divorce them, and then get him married with his wife he has right now!! complicated stuff. the funny thing is this dude was telling us about how he has searched everywhere for this lady and he couldnt find her..and i just asked him if he had looked her up on Facebook.. and his face just like got a lightbulb type look and he said "no". i was like yo dog what on earthhhh have you been doing not looking her up on social media hahah. so we looked her up and there she was the first one on the little list thing!! so we are looking good there.
this week we also painted a school!! im not sure if you guys remember.. but in my first months in my mission i painted a school. well i painted that exact same school again hahah. i think i painted over the paint that i painted last year hahah!! funny stuff.
and today we went fishing!! it was super awesome. there is a member here who has a big ole pond with tonssss of fish so we bought some hooks and line and went fishin!! i caught a couple of biggg ole fishies, and of course some small ones too haha.
oh yeah one more thing... our neighbors own like 6 peacocks... yeah like those big birdies who have a tonnnn of feathers and are really pretty. well this week we were just chillin doing our studies when one of the peacocks came strolling into our yard!!!! it was super crazy. its not everyday you find a peacock in your house hahha.
