this week was pretty solid for us!! we worked just like normal and im not going to lie, not anything super crazy happened.
we worked just like normal, and we found some more families to teach this week so that was super awesome!!! right now we are teaching a familia Gil.. they are super cool but these pecadores dont want to get married to some reason!! they have a child, but they dont want to get married. sometimes these guatemalans just blow my mind. in our area right now, there are 4 couples that would be able to get baptized tomorrow if they would just get married!!! the good ole ley de castidad is a challenge here.
a cool thing we got to do this week is go to the temple!!! some members from my first area estanzuela went so we got to go with them!! it was super awesome to see all those people that i taught for 6 months!! they were all super shook because i can actually speak a little bit of spanish now hahah!! it was cool to see them. and one of the best parts about all of that is that we went to krispy kreme donuts after. its the only krispy kreme donuts in all of guatemala... just another reason why this awesome Church is true hahah.
this week im also going to receive a new companion!! elder teerlink is leaving to an area called el fiscal, and im getting a new companion named elder german!!! hes from the dominican republic. hes going to finish the mission in a couple months.. so hopefully i will be able to learn a lot from him!!
