HELLLO everyone at home!!
these weeks are really starting to zoom on by, its kind of weird because sometimes i feel like the days are super slow but the weeks are super fast haha its weird!!!
this week nothing super crazy happened, we are just working super hard and trying not to melt in this crazy heat!! its pretty funny because at like 2 in the afternoon we are literally the only people outside walking around, because we are the only people crazy enough to be outside walking around!!! its pretty wild.
right now its pretty funny because there are some kids from the street that always like to hang out with us, and they found me in the internet cafe, and now they are so spooked because i know how to type in english hahaha.
but this week we worked super hard. my companion is a little bit lazy, and sometimes he doesnt want to wake up and work, but im always whipping him into shape haha. in the morning i shoot him with his own nerf gun to get him to wake up its great!!
we didnt have many crazy adventures this week, but there was one day we were teaching a lesson and it was super dark because the people dont really have light! so i thought i was totally fine, until i started to feel little bites on my legs.. then my arms.. then my neck!!! i was so spooked, and then i realized ants had crawled up my body and were actually eating me!! and these arent just the average little ant, these little suckers are BIG. so i fought off ants basically that whole night it was rough. i had some gnarly bites, and have grown a phobia for ants haha!
and also this week we were able to fish in that lagoon that we found last week! we went and fished earlier today! we caught absolutley nothing, but it was still a super fun time.
this wednesday we get to go to a conference with Elder Quentin L. Cook!! so im super pumped for that.
i know that this church is true, and im super grateful to be a servant of our Savior Jesus Christ!! He lives and loves each and every one of us!
