we got a lot done, and we had a lot of fun doing it so you could say we are having success.
so right now, we are the leaders of this group out here in san luis!! so we basically have to do everything the leaders would do, and also the missionary work so its safe to say we are very busy!! for example, this week we had to go to the grocery store 2 times to help some people buy food because they cant afford food on there own! and we also give talks like every week in sacrament, bless and pass the sarcrament, and lead the meetings! its wild, but awesome.
this saturday we were able to have an awesome activity with the group, and also the branch from ipala!! we invited a tonnn of people to come the the church to play games and eat food from the missonaries countries! it was dang fun. the gringos made roasted some weenies and some mallows, and it was easily the favorite. they were so amazed at the contraption we call a smore back home. it was a HIT. the best part about this activity, is that the attendance in sacrament meeting grew a ton and we had a ton of investigators in church! we were super happy.
yesterday we got invited to a lunch, and allllll the people wanted to know about the church and what we do as missionaries! it was sooo sick. they asked me to bear my testimony in english, and then translate it to spanish and the spirit was so strong!! they know now what the "mormons" do and that we are regular people just like them!
one last cool thing we got to do today was on a bus, of all places. we were just going back to our area after we went to the zoo (the zoo was awesome) and a biggg ole family of like 8 people entered. they were all battered with dirty clothes and were super tired. the little kids were crying, and the parents just couldnt get their kids to be quiet. we had just happened to swing by little ceasers right before and we still had our cinnamon bites left over! i felt the prompting to give em the yummy cinnamon bites, so i did!! at first they couldnt believe it, and after all the little kids just devoured the food with the biggest smiles ever! i was so dang happy. their parents were so relieved and happy, but i know for sure i was the happiest person in that bus.
thats about all i got this week!! the church is true!!
