heyyyyy everyone!!!
another week has flownnnnn by, and we are still doing work here in san luis!! first off, i just gotta say i have the best mom ever. she sent me homemade cookies!!!! i havent tasted anything that yummy in a longgggggg time.
this week was super crazy and super fun!! we are working really hard here in san luis, and getting a lot done which is super awesome.
we found a super awesome investigator this weeked named jaime! weird name i know. but he is super sick. we gave him a book of mormon, and he said he would read it, but thats what everyone says and not a lot of people read. but he READ. like 17 chapters in the first night!!! so we invited to be baptized, and he said yes!! so we are gonna work with him to prepare him for that.
here we work really hard and walk a ton, but one thing i have learned is to always look for the little things to help out or have fun with the people here. i really feel like Christ would do the same thing, he would always look for the little things so thats what we try to do!
this week when we were walking to an appt, there were like 8 kids playing soccer in the street when the ball came flyin our way. so i kicked it back, and they invited us to play!! we said we couldnt stay very long, so we just had a little penalty kick shoot off haha! i was the goalie, and nobody was able to get the ball past the giant gringo hahaha. it was super fun, and we gave em all a little card of Christ before we left! little moments like that are what make the mission so awesome.
yesterday at church was super crazy, because we didnt have sacrament cups! since all of the stuff is like a 20 minute bus ride away from here, we had to do the unthinkable and pass the sacrament in styrofoam cups!! the good thing is i still felt the spirit just like i would in a regular sacrament meeting.
The church is true!! its so awesome to be a missionary serving the people of Guatemala.
love all of you, thanks for your support and love!!
