hey everyone!!
this week was a super solid week, because we BAPTIZEDDDDD. me and my companion were super stoked!! we baptized Jaime, so im super happy about that!! last monday we had a lesson with him, and he told us that he wanted to think about his baptism the whole week and he told us on friday that he wanted to be baptized!! so we planned a baptism fastttttt and he got baptized on saturday!! so that was super cool. i had the chance to baptize him, and also confirm him so that was awesome! i have never fasted or prayed so much for a single person in my whole life!!
not much else happened this week! we are still working hard, and right now we need some more investigators!! we always find new investigators, but they never really want to progress hahaha so we are working hard to find people who really need the gospel!!!
today we went to this place called Esquipulas, and there is a gianttttt catholic church there!! people from all over central america visit this church, so we decided to go haha. its cool, but there aint nothing like the temple in salt lake!! it will always be #1 in my heart hahah.
this week something wild happened tho. there were a tonnnnn of kids in the street, and they asked us to play soccer with them!! we we stopped for a second to play. and the end of the game, this crazyyyy drunk dude started throwing his glass bottles at us cuz he was tickeedddd ahha. thank heavens he was super drunk, and wasnt able to hit us haha!!
not much else happened!! i love being a missionary out here in guatemala and helping these people come unto Christ!!
