this week was super crazy so ill get right to it haha.
so last week i mentioned a family, edvin and marquetta. turns out they are SUPER AWESOME. they are progressing really well, learning a ton, and they even came to church on sunday!! so we are more than excited about them!! they understand really really well, which is something new for me!! its hard to find people like that here in san luis haha!
so there is a family here in san luis called the Familia Agustin. we have been working with them for a superrrr long time, because they have a little girl named Darlin who is 9 years old who hasnt been baptized!! and they finallyyy decided to baptize her. so on saturday we went to the baptism!! one of the members here was going to baptize her in the posa de la pila, which is a super pretty river they have here. when we got there, he got super scared of the water cuz he doesnt know how to swim, so he asked me to do the baptism!! i didnt have any of my clothes, or a towel, so we had to switch clothes!! it was crazyyy. i had to go off and find a big ole rock, so i could change my clothes with this other hermano from the group!! but it was super cool. the baptism went really well, and i got to baptize someone in a river so that was cool too!!
today for pday we went to chiquimula to play games and have a water fight as a zone so that was fun!! and afterwards we went to this place that sells UNREAL mexican tacos. i had 9... i have come to realize on the mission that i eat a tonnn of food haha.
