hey everyone!!
this week was a pretty good week for us out here in san luis!
we are working hard as usual, we are still contacting a tonnn!! we knock a lot of doors to try to find new investigators, and we have knocked a lot of doors that i had already knocked before!! so that is kind of awkward when the people are like "why the heck did these 2 dudes come back to my house" hahahah. i feel like i have knocked every door, talked to every person, and been barked at by every dog that is here in san luis hahah.
this week we were able to find some awesomeeee new investigators, gracias to knocking doors!! their names are Edvin and Marquetta. they are a little different from other people we have found. Edvin is from San Luis, but his wife is from the Czech Republic! thats definitely a first for me... hah! she speaks like 5 languages.. russian, chech, english, one other language i cant think of, and a little bit of spanish!! its weird because we teach in spanish, but she always asks me questions in English because she is still learning a lot of Spanish. right now we are trying to find out if we can bring her a Book of Mormon in Czech!! but they are superrrr awesome people! when we knocked their door, they told us to come in without us saying anything!! we taught them about the Restoration and the Book of Mormon, and Edvin told us "im just like Jose Smith because i have always asked which church is the true church!"
i was lovinnnnnnnnnn it.
we explained the Book of Mormon, and they told us they are going to read and pray about it! we have an appointment with them in about an hour... so we are hoping it goes well!
not much else to say.. im coming up on a year so thats a little crazy!! time is flying by, and i love every second of being a missionary.
the church is true!!!
