This week was a solid week for us! Me and Elder Watts are still working hard and having a greattttt time doing it. We are happy to say the least.
So the highlight of the week were the baptisms that we had!! Francisca and Pablo are both super pilas in their own way!! Pablo is like young dude around our age who does a lot of things that we do! He was basically just a dry member.. he was going to institute and everything! So hes super happy, and his mom is super proud of him and shes not a member! so we are gonna be all over that for the next couple weeks.
Francisca is almost the exact opposite! She is a cute little Guatemalan lady who speaks Spanish as her second language because her first language is one of the dialects here in Guatemala!! Her son is currently in the mission, and we were able to do him a huge favor in baptizing his mom!! It was cool cuz I was able to baptize and comfirm her too. I just love this Gospel!!
Other than that the week was very normal!! We are still teaching the Familia Alonso, and they are progressing well!! The mom and the kids are coming to Church every week, but the dad is slacking hard core so we are going to teach that man a little bit of the Dia de Reposo so he gets goinnn.
The rainy season here in Guatemala is kickin up again.. and me and Elder Watts have been avoiding the rain this whole week. Last Monday we had an awesome Family Night with a cool family from the ward, and i couldnt hear anything because the thunder was so loud!! But it was super cool.
