this week was a pretty stellar week for us.
so we have kept working with the Familia Alonso, and this week they are going to get married and baptized!! they are all super happy and excited.. they are just an awesome family. They all came to church this week, and we have planned out the wedding and the baptism for this week! so we are stoked about that.
we have also started teaching some investigators that were in another area called Jocotales. There were elders there a couple weeks ago, but they started to get some calls from some scary guys telling them to not go down in their area or bad things are gonna happen. so they got taken out of their area, and we have the privilege of teaching some of the investigators they left! their names are Sharon and Sandy, and they are also gonna get baptized this week so thats super cool!!
we also had the opportunity to do some service this week!! we painted another house... i know i always say this when i paint houses, but i have gotten GOOD at painting. we also had to move a pila up a flight of stairs... a pila is just like a giant cement thing that the people here use to wash clothes. to say the least, that thing weighed a TONN. but the good thing is we are still getting gains out here and we were able to get that pila up the stairs haha.
this week is the last week of the change, and me and my boy Elder Watts are just hoping and praying to not have changes cuz these last 4 or 5 weeks might have been the most fun and successful weeks of my mission. i just LOVE the Work of the Lord! and having an awesome companion and area helps out a lot hahah.
