I feel like this whole pday on Saturday thing is still throwing me off a little bit haha.
This week we were kind of all over the place!! On Saturday we had a little activity with the ward!! We watched Ephraim's Rescue, which is a super awesome movie. I don't think I have seen it in English yet but I love it in Spanish!! It really brings the Spirit, and helps get a testimony about the Restoration and the Priesthood. Good stuff
On Tuesday we went to the temple with the ward because we had an investigator going! His name is Patricio and he's super cool. He told us he knows he needs to be baptized, he is just scared to do it. So we took him to the temple, and he told us he felt the Spirit super strong! So hopefully that helps him to not feel scared!
oh yeah and last week we also did a service for an Hermana here in the ward! She wanted us to move a bunch of dirt.. still not sure why she wanted us to move the dirt, but she did. So as soon as we started to move that dirt, it started DUMPING rain. So soon we were moving mud (which still made no sense in my mind), and mud weighs wayy more than dirt does. So we just told the hermanita that we would go back another day to move her dirt when it wasn't dumping rain. So that day we just got absolutely soaked, but it was a good time.
This week we also had some new leader and new missionary meetings, so that took up a good chunk of our week! On Thursday we had the meeting inside of the capital, and on Friday we had it outside of the capital! On Friday we drove for a whole 10 HOURS because of the terrible traffic here in Guatemala. My legs were dyin to say the least, and we had to take an emergency bathroom break on the side of the road cuz my comps bladder was literally exploding haha. and the best part was that we were in the car with President and Sister Christensen! So they just got a kick out of that hahahah.
Today we went to the zoo for Pday which was AWESOMEEE. We went with the finance guys and secretaries, and President and Sister Christensen also wanted to come along so that was quite a fun time!!
