so this week was a crazy week. last monday after i wrote this beautiful weekly letter, i was called and told that i was having emergency changes!! so last week i came over here to molino, with my boy elder watts!! we have been best pals almost the whole mish, so when they told us that we were gonna be companions we both got super stoked.
in our area we are having quite a bit of success!! we have 6 investigators with baptismal dates.. Pablo, Francisca, and La Familia Alfonso. They are all doing super awesome!! they came to church this weekend, they are reading and praying, and all really want to be baptized so we are more than happy with that!!
this week we also found a really cool guy named mel!! he contacted us... he is from Oregon, and he had 2 questions for us 1. How can i know which church is true? and 2. Is it true you guys have a prophet today? We were extremely happy to answer both of those questions. So we sent that man off to Oregon yesterday with a Book of Mormon in hand, and he told us he was going to go to search for the nearest Church to his house!! so that was a cool experience.
this week we also were able to do a super cool service!! we hauled a tonnn of cement blocks down a barranco.. which is like a super steep cliff basically haha. it was super tiring, and i give the guatemalans props for being able to do that every day for their jobs!!! but it was awesome to be able to help out this family with that little service.
So me and elder watts both played basketball in high school together, so every morning we have been playing ball here in the stake center!!! it was been quite an awesome time, and it feels good to play some solid 1v1 again. and i was able to finally break out my lebrons that i have been hauling around for the last 20 months!!
today, one of my best pals went home from the mish because he got super sick. i didnt realize how much i was going to grow to love my fellow elders out here in the mish!! i love being out here and serving the Lord.. there aint nothin better.
love you all a ton!!
